Amelia U. Santos-Paulino is a Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER. Previously, she was a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex’s Institute of Development Studies and has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Davis. She specializes on trade, macroeconomics and development issues, and her work has been published in academic journals including the Economic Journal, Manchester School, and World Development. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Kent in the UK
