First workshop in Accra, Ghana. Project team members from Ghana, Namibia, Egypt, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zambia participated in the workshop. The theme of this workshop is: Construction of a Microsimulation Database. The aim of the workshop is to familarise the participants with the microsimulation technique, its use for policy analysis, and its main building blocks. In particular, the central aim of the workshop was to develop a common understanding of how to build the database of a microsimulation model.
