The Director and staff of UNU-WIDER wish to warmly congratulate Professor Ernest Aryeetey on his appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana. It is not only a well deserved appointment; it is also a tremendous opportunity for him to be one of Africa's premier institutions of higher learning.
