UNU-WIDER and the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the area of capacity building and research. As one of the first concrete steps UNU-WIDER / AERC have jointly announced the following programmes: The UNU-WIDER/AERC PhD Research Internship Programme and the UNU-WIDER/AERC Visiting Scholars Programme.
The deadlines are 30 September of each year.
