Extractive industries: taxation and revenues III


A third research seminar on extractives and domestic revenue mobilisation titled Extractive Industries: Taxation and Revenues takes place on 31 August 2021 at 4pm Helsinki time (UTC +3). The online event is hosted jointly by UNU-WIDER and the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF).

The aim of the meeting is to bring together researchers from around the world who are working on taxation and extractive industries to share information about their ongoing research and their research plans, as well as to share ideas on data, methods, and on how to achieve policy impact. 

The workshop is co-chaired by Tony Addison from UNU-WIDER and Thomas Lassourd and Viola Tarus from IGF. The seminar consists of two sessions, with a networking break in the middle.

The event is by invitation only.
