During the 7th World Investment Forum 18–22 October, UNU-WIDER Director, Kunal Sen, joins the Academic Track opening plenary: ‘Setting the future research and policy agenda on international investment and development’.

Academic Track is organized in collaboration with leading academic institutions and associations in disciplines related to investment and development. The Track will consist of a series of events with the aim of providing a platform for discussions, as well as integrating research and opinions from leading scholars, researchers, executives from global companies and senior policy makers. The programme will cover issues related to foreign investment, multinational enterprises and development in a global context, across multiple disciplines.  

In the opening plenary Kunal Sen joins experts including Anabel González, Deputy Director-General at the World Trade Organization, Yaw Nyarko, Professor of Economics at New York University (NYU) and the Director of NYU Africa House, Arkebe Oqubay, Senior Minister and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, and more, to discuss the future research and policy agenda regarding international investment and development.
