Project workshop: Fiscal states – the origins and development implications

Over three days in June, this workshop will bring together researchers to present their work to date on the effects of fiscal states in low- and middle-income countries and their economic, political and historical determinants.

The online workshop will take place on 15, 16 and 23 June 2021. The meetings will provide an opportunity for project contributors to share, receive comments on, discuss, and debate their work in progress. A number of early career researchers from the Global South have also been invited to attend the workshop.

Papers will be revised after the workshop in preparation for submission to a journal special issue. A full list of project contributors and their research topics can be found here
