At the Consortium meeting the early career researchers attend Masterclasses held by Prof Eva Labro, Prof Shiva Rajgopal and Prof Stefano Cascino, and present their working papers and get feedback from the senior faculty in residence. The topic of Rohit Reddy Muddasani's presentation is So close and yet so far: the ability of mandatory disclosure rules to crack down on offshore tax evasion.

The conference features reserch presentations and academic discussions, and a special policy session featuring presentations from policymakers and practicioners on tax policy and lessons learner.

The presentation is part of UNU-WIDER's Detecting and countering illicit financial flows project, which is one workstream under UNU-WIDER's programme on Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM). The DRM programme is financed by the Norwegian development co-operation agency Norad.
