On 23-24 November, 2020, Tony Addison, Non-Resident Senior Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER, will be presenting at a seminar titled "Financing Natural Capital: Policies for Value Chain Development in Natural Resources in Post COVID-19 Africa".

The online seminar is hosted by African Development Institute (ADI), African Development Bank Group under the auspices of the Global Community of Practice on COVID-19 Response Strategies in Africa (G-CoP).

The seminar, which will will bring together policy practitioners and experts from Africa and globally, is a brainstorming session designed to produce a policy review paper and policy brief to support our member countries' responses to COVID-19 in the short, medium, and long term. It will address policy options available to decision makers at the national, regional, and global sales to assist Africa in Financing Natural Capital: Policies for Value Chain Development in Natural Resources in Post Covid-19 Africa.

The topic of Prof. Addison's presentation is "Financing natural capital: Investment flows, trade transparency and accountability".
