UNU-WIDER at the World Village Festival 2022

29 May, Market Square, Helsinki, Finland

What is UN doing to prevent conflicts and support those who have been affected by conflicts? What are the recent achievements of UN organizations? Join us at the World Village festival in Helsinki on 29 May 2022 to find out! This year the festival takes place in hybrid form.

The UN stand can be found in a tent at the Market square. UNU-WIDER will be present in a tent together with seven others UN organizations that have presence in Finland: UN Association Finland, UNICEF, The UN Refugee Agency UNHCR, International Organization for Migration IOM, UN Global Pulse, UN Women, United Nations Development Fund (UNDP), and the Finnish Refugee Council.

Join us on Sunday 29 May to hear what UN is doing to support sustainable development — and to find out how you can get involved! The tent is open from 11am to 7pm.
