Piotr Lewandowski

Non-Resident Senior Research Fellow

Piotr Lewandowski is a labour economist, President of the Board at Institute for Structural Research, Warsaw, and a Research Fellow at IZA, Bonn, Germany.

In the past he has collaborated with Warsaw School of Economics, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in Poland. His research interests include the impact of technology on jobs, wage polarization, labour market segmentation, minimum wage, and labour market effects of climate and energy policies.

Piotr Lewandowski is part of the UNU-WIDER project Inequalities – measurement, implications, and influencing change project. He is mainly involved in the work on the sub-component Earnings Inequality and Structural Change, which addresses policy challenges in achieving Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth, Goal 9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure, and Goal 10 on reduced inequalities, in the Sustainable Developments Goals Agenda.
