Inequality and governance in unstable democracies – the mediating role of trust: 2nd Annual Workshop

More than 30 participants attended the 2nd annual workshop for ‘Trust and Governance’ project, held virtually on the 16th and 17th April 2020. The workshop was initially set to be held in Colombia but had to be moved to a virtual environment through video conferencing due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The workshop had the following aims:

(1) Discuss the first background papers of the project

(2) Introduce the team to a new research project (the Life with Corona survey)

(3) Discuss the scoping papers for the case studies

(4) Discuss preliminary thoughts about fieldwork and methodologies

The sessions were chaired by Leopoldo Fergusson and Patricia Justino.
