Michael Danquah presents at ODI workshop on inclusive, sustainable economic transformation

On 18 October Michael Danquah joins a workshop hosted by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) on Unpacking Informal Economy Heterogeneity: what role for informal value chains and sectors/sub-sectors in inclusive, sustainable economic transformation?

Michael Danquah presents 'Stuck at the bottom of the job ladder: What can African countries do?' drawing on research from the recent UNU-WIDER book 'The Job Ladder' and the project on transforming informal work and livelihoods. 

The closed workshop includes experts from IDS, WIEGO, ILO, and more and covers topics including inclusion, economic transformation, environmental stability, synergies and tradeoffs, and a new policy agenda.
