Project Activity — A three week online course on the 'The Science of Climate Change and Biophysical Modeling'

UNU-WIDER, in collaboration with the African Economics Research Consortium (AERC), held a three week online course on the 'The Science of Climate Change and Biophysical Modeling'.

International lecturers introduced course participants to the science of modeling and understanding climate change and to the key biophysical sectors through which climate change may affect long-term development (i.e., agriculture, energy and infrastructure). Participants, who were identified via the AERC network, included 31 scholars from 17 African countries.
