Non-resident Senior Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER, Miguel Niño-Zarazúa, is invited to speak and share results at a half-day workshop on 'Social protection in the Global South: evidence, sustainability, climate change and migration, and the role of aid'. The workshop is organized by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the Expert Group for Aid Studies (EBA)

Professor Niño-Zarazúa speaks in Stockholm on 'Sustainability, ownership and political will when expanding social protection systems' to an invited audience of aid officials and people involved in policy processes. He also shares insights and research results from a major EBA report on the rise of social protection in the Global South, a key output of our project on Effects of aid on social protection systems in sub-Saharan Africa
