Structural change in developing countries: trends, causes, and consequences

ETD project workshop

Structural change in developing countries – ETD project workshop

On 21 November 2022, commissioned research from the Economic Transformation Database (ETD) project is presented at the first of three workshops. The research aims to improve our understanding of structural transformation —how it varies, why it varies, and what the implications of this might be— and to offer new frameworks that provide insight into how to address it. That will generate precious insights on how developing economies, in particular low-income ones, can achieve sustainable, inclusive development.
