Parallel session
Data for revenue mobilization

Parallel 4.4 | Room 3: Thursday, 7 September 2023: 13:30-15:00 (UTC+2)

There are numerous cross-country datasets from, for example, UNU-WIDER, ATAF, OECD, IMF, and the World Bank on tax revenue mobilization, each with relative merits and comparative advantages. Access to such data is particularly useful for countries in the Global South that seek to understand their tax revenue performance relative to peers. This session brings together key providers of cross-country tax data to unpack the relative merits, complementarities and differences between the various datasets.
