UNU-WIDER researchers offer a seminar on aid effectiveness in fragile states to an audience of Swedish development officials and foreign officers. The seminar is organized by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
Senior research fellow Rachel M. Gisselquist and Deputy Director Patricia Justino mobilize research findings from a UNU-WIDER book project (volume forthcoming) on aid effectiveness in fragile contexts and Christoph Zürcher, Professor at the University of Ottawa, presents the findings of a recent WIDER Working Paper that systematically reviews aid to Afghanistan, Mali, and South Sudan during the years 2008–2021.
