Call for participation: Life with Corona survey round 2

Life with Corona, a global survey tracking the social and economic impacts of COVID-19 around the world has just been released with updated questions.

Take part in the survey here, and share the link with your colleagues, friends and family!

The first round of the survey received 12,000 responses from more than 130 countries. Key findings from the first six months of data collection have just been released in a new report here.

The second round of the survey, launching on 1 October 2020, will grow the reach and breadth of the research, expanding the global dataset on the impacts of COVID-19.

UNU-WIDER is part of the research consortium running the survey, with Professor Patricia Justino as a project co-leader. Other research consortium members include ISDC – International Security and Development Center, Leibniz-Institut für Gemüse- und Zierpflanzenbau (IGZ), the University of Konstanz, and the Institute for Development Studies (IDS). The project is also supported by various volunteers and a network of collaborating organizations and institutions from around the world.

By taking the 15-minute online survey, respondents can help the research team to uncover how COVID-19 is shaping lives and livelihoods around the world, and enable them to develop responses to the pandemic and to the various counter measures that people and governments have implemented.
