WIID – World Income Inequality Database

World Income Inequality Database (WIID), collects and stores information on income inequality for developed, developing, and transition countries. WIID provides the most comprehensive set of income inequality statistics available and can be downloaded for free.

The WIID3.4, released in January 2017, covers six new countries, and more than 1,500 new observations have been added to the previous revision. The current version includes observations for two more years, with the latest observations now reaching the year 2015. In addition to the raw data, which can be downloaded here, we now also provide an interactive visualization tool.
